What is an FAA Waiver for Operations Over Human Beings and Operations Over Moving Vehicles?
Simply put, we hold a waiver from the FAA that allows us to legally fly over open air assemblies, like concerts, festivals, and such, which most sUAS pilots cannot do. Currently there are only a few options that legally allow this, such as a waiver or a Category 1 drone. We can also fly over moving vehicles with this waiver. Why should I use Pikeville Drone Services when my friend has a drone and would do it for free?
The FAA tends to frown upon and generally fine heavily unlicensed drone pilots that fly for commercial purposes. Not only can the pilot of the drone get a $1,100 fine for each instance, but a realtor can get an $11,000 fine for using material supplied by an unlicensed pilot. The best thing is to hire a professional licensed drone pilot to handle your aerial photography and save the fines.

Services are based on a job by job basis. They are definitely fair and reasonable. Sometimes there is even room for negotiations.
